Bruce Haffey of Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C. to Present at MICPA Automotive Dealers, Construction Industry & Controllers Conference

TROY, Mich. – August 8: Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C. is pleased to announce that senior business and tax lawyer Bruce Haffey will present at the MICPA Automotive Dealers, Construction Industry & Controllers Conference at 5:10 PM on Tuesday, September 24 at Laurel Manor in Livonia.

Haffey’s program is titled: “Buyers, Sellers, Bonuses and Benefits- Compensation Issues in M&A Transactions” and is scheduled to run until 6 PM. The program will discuss and explore issues related to retention bonuses, phantom stock plans, 409A issues, golden parachute payments and similar compensation payments in the context of a business acquisition. This is the third in a series of MICPA programs presented by Haffey on tax, accounting and transactional structure issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
