EXPERIENCE
Lindsay Hazen is an attorney in the firm’s Education Law Group. Ms. Hazen represents public school districts in matters of employment discrimination, constitutional litigation, general education, special education, student discipline and due process, peer-on-peer harassment, and more. Additionally, Ms. Hazen has experience in counseling and advising clients on their bargaining agreements, employment agreements, employment policies, employee issues, disciplinary actions, and compliance with laws such as FMLA, ADA, Title IX, FOIA, and the Open Meetings Act.

While in law school, Ms. Hazen was a member of the Mock Trial Board and represented Wayne State University Law School in several Mock Trial competitions as a member of the AAJ National Mock Trial Team. Ms. Hazen also served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Law in Society and published an article examining the custodial interrogations of children. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Hazen was a paralegal for the Department of Justice.
