GMH Partner, John R. Fleming, secured a complete victory for his clients in a business court trial in Oakland County. The case involved allegations that GMH’s client, a real estate businessman, had wrongfully retained hundreds of thousands of dollars that the plaintiff claimed to have delivered in connection with a business acquisition. Fleming moved for involuntary dismissal at the close of the plaintiffs’ proofs. The court granted the motion and found that the cash was never delivered and that the lawsuit was concocted. The case was dismissed with prejudice.
