TROY, Mich. – Alexander Lebedinski has been elected to the Board of Trustees of Straith Hospital for Special Surgery.
Straith Hospital for Special Surgery, a hospital in Southfield, is ranked as one of the leading Special Surgery independent hospitals in Michigan. Founded by a plastic surgery pioneer in 1954, it was originally based in Detroit and known as a hospital specializing in plastic, reconstructive and orthopedic surgery. Straith Hospital added eye surgery in 1984 and rehabilitation services in 1993, and relocated to a newly built hospital in Southfield in 1973.
Alexander Lebedinski is an Equity Partner and a Co-Chair of the Healthcare Practice Group at Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C. Alex concentrates his practice in the areas of Healthcare Law and Business Transactions. Since joining the firm in 2003, Alex represents health care providers including physicians, large and small primary and specialty physician group practices, physician organizations, outpatient ambulatory surgery centers and diagnostic centers in the areas of Federal and State regulatory compliance and a wide variety of business, corporate and employment law matters. Over the years Alex has presented on numerous health care law issues to practicing physicians, medical residents, and practice administrators.
Alex earned his B.B.A from the University of Michigan Dearborn, School of Management and his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude. Alex is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Health Lawyers Association, and is currently the Chair of the Oakland County Bar Association Medical-Legal Committee.
