On October 24, 2013, Christopher J. Ryan presented as part of a panel to a group of physicians at a seminar about buying, starting, or currently owning a medical practice. Topics of discussion included how to choose a corporate entity, professional liability insurance, negotiating contracts and medical record documentation.
Mr. Ryan is a member of the firm’s Business Practice Group and the Litigation Group. As a member of the Business Practice Group, Mr. Ryan works with healthcare providers in all areas of health law including corporate formation and dissolution, contract formation, and issues involving health compliance. As part of the litigation group, Mr. Ryan practices general litigation, with a special emphasis on defending healthcare providers faced with claims of medical malpractice. In this regard, Mr. Ryan’s experience spans from the presuit period through representing healthcare providers at trial.
