Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C. Elects Two New Shareholders

The law firm of Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C. is pleased to announce that the following people have been elected shareholders of the firm effective January 1, 2012:

Jennifer Engelhardt

Jennifer concentrates her practice in medical malpractice defense and family law, and has handled a myriad of general civil litigation cases including medical malpractice, automobile negligence, premises liability, assault and battery, sexual harassment, and general negligence. Jennifer’s experience includes representing clients from the pre-suit phase through appeal, including facilitation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Jennifer is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, DRI, the Women’s Law Association of Michigan, and the Oakland County Bar Association, where she recently participated in the 2006-2007 Inn of Court program.

Jennifer Savel

Ms. Savel is a member of the firm’s estate planning group, and specializes in Trusts and Estates. Jennifer’s practice includes estate and wealth transfer planning, and estate and trust administration. Jennifer is well versed in the preparation of federal estate tax returns and has negotiated federal estate tax audits with the Internal Revenue Service. She is the co-author of “Administering Decedent’s Estates,” ICLE’s Michigan Basic Practice Handbook.

Jennifer is a member of the American Bar Association, the Michigan State Bar, and the Oakland County Bar Association.
