Paul Thursam of the Business Practice Group will be leading an encore discussion of his roundtable topic Urban Farming at the State Bar of Michigan’s Real Property Law Section 2011 Summer Conference. This year’s Conference takes place in July at the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City, Michigan. Mr. Thursam is active in the Section having been identified as a Young Millennial Leader by the Section’s Council and has assisted the Section with its outreach program Property and Pizza, most recently at Wayne State University Law School in November of 2010, and at Thomas Cooley Law School in January of 2011. Mr. Thursam is a regular contributor to the Section’s scholarly publications, with articles such as “Limited Liability for Successor Developers” which appeared in the Section’s eJournal in January 2010, and “Legal Considerations Related to Redevelopment, Reconfiguration and Re-Sale of Failed Condominium Projects and Subdivisions” which appeared in the Michigan Real Property Review, Spring 201, Volume 37, No. 1.
