EXPERIENCE
Nicholas Bowman is an Associate Attorney in our Labor and Employment group, where he represents employers in all areas of employment litigation, including claims under Title VII and parallel state statutes as well as wage, hour, and contract disputes. Nicholas also counsels clients on workplace policies and internal complaints with an eye toward resolving issues before they evolve into litigation.
Before joining GMH, Nicholas spent just under two years representing employees at a plaintiffs’ firm in Chicago, handling matters at every stage, including charges before the EEOC, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Department of Labor, through litigation in state and federal court, and on appeal.
Nicholas prides himself on developing strong working relationships with clients by providing thoughtful, thorough, and efficient service, and by keeping clients informed of the issues that drive risk and cost in their matters.
Nicholas received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePauw University and his Juris Doctor from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Chicago-Kent College of Law. Nicholas is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
