Troy, Michigan — September 29, 2026 — Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C. is pleased to announce that Anne Gabbert, an attorney in the firm’s Municipal Group, has been appointed to the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Committee of the State Bar of Michigan for the 2026–2027 Bar year.
Anne’s one-year appointment begins October 1, 2026. The Lawyers and Judges Assistance Committee is associated with the State Bar of Michigan’s Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program (LJAP), which supports Michigan legal professionals in optimizing their overall well-being and, when appropriate, facilitates their involvement in the program’s monitoring services.
LJAP serves a broad range of members of the legal community, including attorneys in good standing, suspended or disbarred attorneys, candidates for reinstatement, law students, bar applicants, judges, family members, colleagues, and others. Services include free consultations for legal professionals and their families; clinical assessments; short-term counseling for law students; monitoring; referrals to qualified providers; professional training and educational presentations; and virtual support groups for lawyers and law students. Services are provided confidentially in accordance with HIPAA.
Anne’s appointment reflects her commitment to service within the legal profession and her willingness to contribute her time and experience to the State Bar of Michigan.
