Michael Wisniewski is an associate attorney in our Business Litigation Group. Mr. Wisniewski’s practice focuses on complex litigation involving product liability, catastrophic injuries, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage. Over the course of his career, Mr. Wisniewski has litigated numerous product liability matters in state and federal courts involving life sciences, digital health and cybersecurity, construction/building materials, and consumer products. His knowledge of mass tort litigation, regulatory compliance, product manufacturing and warning development allows him to craft a creative approach to complex legal issues.
Mr. Wisniewski has also obtained favorable results in other civil litigation matters. He has represented clients in complex business litigation, employment disputes, environmental/toxic tort claims, and transportation matters. Committed to working closely with his clients, he has developed strategies for effectively evaluating and resolving matters on favorable terms while also controlling the costs and risks of litigation.
Prior to joining Giarmarco Mullins & Horton, Mr. Wisniewski worked for firms in Metro Detroit and Los Angeles, California. Mr. Wisniewski earned his J.D. from The University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law where he received several academic Book Award honors. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan. Professional and civic involvement are important to Mr. Wisniewski as he has volunteered his time to assist the Michigan Mountain Biking Association with legal matters and is also an active member of the Michigan Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, American Bar Association legal groups.
