Elena Djordjeski is an associate in our Business Litigation Group.  She focuses her practice on commercial and tort litigation.  Elena has successfully represented individuals and businesses in a variety of matters, including commercial transactions; breach of contract claims; shareholder, member, and partnership disputes; allegations of fraud and misrepresentation; business torts; product liability claims; employment disputes; municipal litigation; and probate litigation.   

Before joining Giarmarco, Mullins, and Horton, Elena graduated magna cum laude from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she was an Honors Scholarship recipient.  While in law school, Elena received numerous academic awards, including Certificates of Merit for earning the highest class grade in Constitutional Law; Criminal Law; Evidence; Advanced Evidence; Personal and Professional Responsibility; Secured Transactions; and Trial Skills.  She also served as Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. 

Elena was a semifinalist at the 2014 American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She also successfully competed as a member of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School’s National Moot Court Team and National Trial Team.

Elena is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, the Detroit Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
