Elena Djordjeski is an associate in the firm’s litigation group. She focuses her practice on commercial and business litigation, as well as divorce and custody disputes.
Elena received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she was an Honors Scholarship recipient.
While in law school, Elena received numerous academic awards, including Certificates of Merit for earning the highest class grade in Constitutional Law; Criminal Law; Evidence; Advanced Evidence; Personal and Professional Responsibility; Secured Transactions; and Trial Skills. She also served as Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
Elena was a member of her law school’s National Moot Court Team and a semifinalist at the 2014 American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also placed first at the Thomas M. Cooley First-Year Mock Trial Competition and later competed as a member of her school’s National Trial Team.
Elena is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. She also serves on the executive board of the Zeta Tau Alpha Detroit Metropolitan Alumnae Association.
