EXPERIENCE
Don Warwick is an equity partner, a member of the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors.

He specializes in defending hospitals, physicians and medical professionals in complex medical malpractice lawsuits. His work includes obstetrics/gynecology, birth trauma, pediatrics, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, critical care, otolaryngology, emergency medicine, internal medicine and numerous other medical specialties.

Don is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell, the premier rating service for attorneys. He has more than twenty-five years of consistently successful trial work, including a multitude of defense verdicts.

Don also enjoys speaking with hospitals and physician groups, concerning medical malpractice issues.

He has been trial counsel in several leading medical malpractice cases, published by the Michigan Supreme Court and the Michigan Court of Appeals. These cases include Elher v Misra (expert qualifications, under MRE 702 and MCL 600.2955), Holman v Rasak (ex parte meetings with treating physicians and medical providers) and Cox v Port Huron Hospital (expert qualifications, under MCL 600.2169).
