Since joining the firm, Annabel has represented school districts, employers, and municipalities in a wide range of civil state and federal litigation at the trial court and appellate court levels. Her practice addresses critical and multifaceted legal issues, including Title IX, governmental immunity, FERPA, employment law, the Child Protection Law, civil rights, constitutional law, general corporate, and mergers and acquisitions. Her nuanced understanding of these areas has made her an invaluable asset to her clients and colleagues alike.
Annabel graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State College of Law, where she also earned an Indigenous Law Certificate through the school’s esteemed Indigenous Law Program. A proud tribal member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, Annabel brings a thoughtful and inclusive perspective to her work, contributing to the firm’s commitment to justice for all communities.
Before joining Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C., Annabel gained significant legal experience as a Legal Extern for the Honorable Maria L.
