Katherine’s elevation reflects her exemplary legal expertise, dedication to client advocacy, and significant contributions to the firm’s success.

Since joining the firm, Katherine has represented public school districts and employers across a broad range of civil litigation matters. Her areas of focus include employment discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, retaliation, civil rights and constitutional claims, Title IX, student discipline and due process, and personal injury. Katherine’s exceptional litigation skills extend to state and federal courts, where she has managed cases involving general tort liability, first- and third-party auto claims, premises liability, property damage, and employment discrimination.

In addition to her trial practice, Katherine has built a distinguished appellate career. Her appellate experience began at the Michigan Court of Appeals Pre-Hearing Research Division during law school and at the Michigan State Appellate Defender’s Office as a student attorney. Since then, she has successfully represented clients in state and federal appellate courts, establishing her as a trusted advocate in the legal community.
