Ms. Jill Duffy is a member of the firm’s Family Law Group, joining the firm with eight years of practicing exclusively in family law and litigation.

Ms. Duffy has always had a passion for family law. She was the president of the Family Law Society while attending Michigan State University College of Law. Additionally, she was the treasurer of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and competed on Michigan State University College of Law’s Negotiation Competition Team for the American Bar Association Law Student Division Regional Negotiation Competition, with a focus on family law issues.

During law school, Ms. Duffy clerked for the Honorable Joseph J. Farah at the Genesee County Circuit Court, and assisted with the Michigan Pension Rights Project at Elder law of Michigan. As a student intern, Ms. Duffy assisted with prosecuting misdemeanors in the 68th District Court in Flint, Michigan. Her first years of practice also included working for a small firm as a summer associate, and criminal, civil and divorce litigation.

The last eight years of Ms. Duffy’s practice have been dedicated to family law litigation and mediation. Ms. Duffy has handled simple and complex divorce case through the State of Michigan.
