Katie is an attorney in our Business Litigation Group. Katie has experience handling a wide variety of commercial matters including breaches of contract, conversion, shareholder oppression, business torts, non-compete and non-solicitation. Katie also represents corporations in product liability disputes. Katie represents small to mid-size companies as well as large corporations. She aims to ensure that the specific needs of each client are addressed.
In law school, Katie was involved with the National Mock Trial team, competing in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Cleveland. She also competed in the Wayne State In-House Moot Court team. Prior to law school, Katie served as a legislative assistant in the Michigan House of Representatives. During law school, Katie gained invaluable experience interning for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Mary Beth Kelly, Judge Bernard Friedman, and Judge Gerald Rosen.
Katie currently serves as the President for the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan for Wayne County. She has been active in WLAM-Wayne since law school. Katie has also participated in the Detroit Bar Association Inn of Court Program.
